Comments: How come there's no mention of the shelling of the Hydro-
electric plants on the Yalu River? Also the fact that the
USS Barton DD 722 after taking our position hit a mine?
The Strong patrolled both coasts of Korea and shelled
both coasts. Just asking.

Keywords: Task Force 77, Yalu River w/ USS Iowa Hydro-electric site
shelled.

Comments: I'm the daughter of Claramon and wonder if anyone else is out there that served with him? I know he was at the Yalu River in North Korea in June '52.

And he lived in Charleston NC, and Norfolk VA with my mother Janet.

I'd like to be in contact with anyone that could tell me more about his Navy days other than the photos I have.

Thank you!
