Comments: My Dad loved the Navy and often said that if he had a last wish,
he would love to be back on the CONY again. His whole life
evolved around his life on HIS ship. My DAD passed away on Nov.
30,2012 after a courageous battle with cancer. I'm sure that my
DAD is back on the U.S.S. Cony now with all his friends that he
served with. Anchors Away DAD, Love eternally, Your Daughter,
Paulette (P.J.)

Comments: Served aboard the Cony 1960-1962 first as a deck hand and then worked in the ships office. I have a couple extra Cony year books from either 1960 0r 1961 I would be interested in selling one of them. To be honest I will have to dig them out of a closet to get the correct dates. If interested please email me policehumor2001@aol.com.
