Comments: I was a Storekeeper Third Class aboard the McKenzie from the
latter part of March, 1951 to sometime in October of 1952. My
steaming watch was as the
Bridge Phone Talker, a communicator between the Bridge, CIC,
Engine Room, etc. I seem to recall several incidents where we
rescued
pilots who had to ditch their planes in Wonsan Harbor. Good
memories!!
