Comments: Hi. I am the daughter of one of the naval crew of the Sperry and I know about your relative. My Father wrote a Korean War Diary and mentioned Mr. Finch on that fateful day. I was re-typing my Dad's diary for him to share with his fellow crew members who meet annually for a dinner/commemoration to remember the Korean War Vets of the USS Charles S. Sperry. I've notified my father of this web page and he will probably be contacting you. I know this page is a couple of years old, but I though I'd try it anyway. If you want to contact me, I'd be happy to give you any other information, and even share the diary of my father with you.
