Comments: Attention all 17th Artillery Veterans
The 17th Artillery Regiment will have its 3rd Reunion June 21-23 at Fort Sill, OK. We are preparing to dedicate a classroom at Snow Hall as a memorabilia and history room. We need pictures, citations, patches, flags, written articles, etc on the 17th. We will be using the wall to hang such articles and the Associaton will mount them. All eras of the regiment will be covered from WWI to the present. Please contact me for any additional information or inquiries.

Comments: Served with Battery A from March 1952-October 1952. Capt. Canine was Battery Commander when I left the unit. I was evacuated to Japan because of Malaria. The unit was in Cho Won Valley at the time I left the unit. I would like to hear from anyone that served with Battery A during that time.

Comments: My father served with the 17th field artillery,battery C (PERSUADERS) from April 1951-June 1952.He is looking for fellow crew members from his unit. He remembers a gunner named Solis from Topeka Kansas,a Japanese-American named Kono,a quadrent man from Chicago and a native-American loader.During my fathers service he injured a finger on his hand and was sent to Pusan.Any reply from fellow crew members would be appreciated.

Comments: The 2/17th FA Regiment Association is being formed and we are looking to contact former Persuaders from the Korean Conflict.WE have contacted over 100 Vietnam Persuaders and held our first reunion at Ft Sill in Nov. 1999. We are having a reunion in June 1-3 in Wash. D.C. and looking to invite all former 17th Artillery personell past and present. We currently have one Korean vet, a few current 1/17th FA at Sill and a few contacts currently in Korea. We have a roster and wish to add your name and send info on the Association.
