In the squad was "bad boy brown from texas" Rumored he was either kia or mia after he transferred to communications.The "professor", Schultz, from Chicago, After I was wounded, I returned to duty with the same regiment in S4 under the command of Major Brun, from Chicago.

Comments: I'm looking for others who may have served with me. I spent 75 consecutive days on Heartbreak Ridge and was at Queen Outpost on Christmas Hill when the war ended. I was in Korea from March 1953-May 1954. I was in boot camp at Camp Roberts, Ca., and was transfered from the 45th Division to the 3rd Division after the war ended.

I was able to get a copy of his discharge paper and it lists Bronze Service Star but like so many others his records were lost. I am particularily interested in finding my wartime buddy, We made the invasion in ETO in 1943.Joined this unit in 1939, discharged 1949. Also looking for a Photographer named Gumm, he was imployed by the Daily Oklahoman newspaper in Oklahoma City, Ok.in about 1949- 1953. Can anyone help me?
