Comments: I am looking for information on my grandfather's time in the Korean was - He was with the 58TH FIELD ARTILLERY BATTALION "A" BATTERY. We have pictures of his time there as he had his own camera. Some pictures were taken in the "Black hills of Korea" by Seoul Summer of 53'

Looks as though they left through Seattle on a ship in April of 53' and were also possibly in Japan as there is a picture of Naha Harbor.

Also the rest of the section he had also gone to Japan after the war for a couple of weeks if anyone remembers him or anything abt what his unit did or even if anyone remembers a refugee named little Cho or if anyone would like to c some pictures I'd love to listen or help in anyway and I thank all those who have done so much for their country thanks much please feel free to ask anything or tell anything even minor details

Comments: My dad is Hubert Verlin Bevington. He was a corporal in the 58th Field Artillery Battalion, Charlie Battery. He was Chief of Section of the 105 mm Howitzer Section #6 when he came home. He was in combat with the Howitzer section for 11 months in 1952-June 1953. His last campaign was firing on Kelly Hill. He'd love to hear from anyone from Battery C. He's now 83 years old.

Comments: My Father was Exec Officer..Baker Battery..George Company..58th Field Artillery..65th Infantry Regiment..FO attached 3rd Infantry Division. He is now 84 years of age and failing fast. He was awarded the Bronze Star for his actions during the Battle of The Outposts. He seems to recount but cannot remember the specifics of Outposts Tom Dick and Harry..Christmas Hill..Star Hill..the Chorwan Valley. However...he still remembers Counter-Battery Fire..."Time on Target Fire For Effect" He still refers to the enemy as "chinks"...and still loves the VT fuse!

Comments: My father, Nick Gansen, has just recently been diagnosed with Alzhiemer's disease. He served from 5-10-1952 to 5-10-1953. He went to Korea and back home on a ship called the General Brewster. He was a wireman. He has recently asked if it would be possible to find Kenny Stark. He cannot remember the name of a seargent who took my father's turn as a forward observer and then never came back. Any info anyone may have would be appreciated, not only for him but for his family with whom he has really not shared very much.
