Comments: You may recall the 187th FAOB helped train the 235th in 1952. I had just returned from the Far East and was involved with that training. I followed over the next year 1953 and joined up with "A" Battery and finally transfered to "B" Battery. I then took an INTERFECOM transfer to Japan and joined the 1st Cav Div.
The reason I bring all this up is that the 187th is having it's annual reunion in S.C. this October 7,8 and 9 and there are some other members that went with the 235th in 1952. I stood at the train station and waved goodbye thinking I had done my tour over there and wouldn't be going back. Surprise, surprise.
Anyway hope that you find something of value in this short note.

Comments: Cpl. Myles Zimmerman, Mike as he was called, was
in a bunker on the West Central Front in Korea
when it was shelled July 13, 1953. Everyone in
the bunker was killed. I would like to find
anyone who may have known Mike in Korea. I
corresponded with him while he was there and was
happy to find this website where I may get some
