Comments: I served in Korea in 1952 to the end of hostilities in 1953. serving as gunner for the last part of the war. Never have found anyone who served at that time other than a friend from my home town. Didn't see him until Oct 23, 2013 at my wife and my 60th wedding anniversary. He was a usher at our wedding. Many memories.

Comments: I'm helping my grandpa. He has been diagnosised with PTSD from
the VA psychologist but the VA will not award him is benefits
because they can not find the proper paper. There is a typo on his
DD 214 saying he was in the 100th not the 160th. That is the issue.
He was in the 160th. We have pictures to prove it but they want
more. Is there anyone out there with a muster role that has Leroy
LaCrone on it. Thank you and God Bless

Comments: I am looking for information on my grandfather's service in the Korean War. I have absolutely nothing, not even a picture. I was unable to get anything from his wife when he died in the 90's. All I have is this: Battery c 160 FA BN.. Its what is on his headstone. Anyone know him or any stories about him during the war? He never spoke of it to me or my mother. He is buried in Haskell, OK. Email me please!

My dad now lives in Sioux Falls, SD, getting up in years, but doing ok. I have a xerox copy of a photo of A BTRY take while the unit was stationed in Japan before depployment to Korea. Comments: Fellows, My dad served with B Battery, 160th FA, 45th inf. Div. He froze his feet in a river crossing, had the hair burned off the back of his head by a flare, and broke his leg while being flanked by the enemy as a Forward Observer. He spoke fondly of a Major in his company but I can't remember the name. Also spent time in Hokkaido hospital and as a prison of war guard there. Dad died in june 1991, he never spoke much of the war, would love to talk to anyone that served with him. 40+ guys in his battery are from Hominy, OK. I have his service book with the names of all the men if any of you are interested.
