Comments: Good evening. I'm hoping to get some insight about my grandfather. I recently came across an old newspaper article that said he served with 92nd AFA in Korea from 1952-1954. All I have his an old canteen that he wrote his movements on while overseas. Any insight would be AMAZING. I wasn't old enough when he passed to ask him about his military service. From the newspaper article he was CPL Robert Edwards. He went by Bob. He was from Lima/ Elida Ohio. He never talked much about his service time from what my uncles and father have told me. I know it would mean the world to us to hear stories about him. Thank you for your time!

I am the oldest son of Raymond Ray Lewis. He was in the 92nd Red Devil's and served in the Korean War as a driver of a 155mm self propelled howitzer. Im writing this message in case any of you guys served with him. He passed away in august at the age of 82. He often told me about the great guys he served with and stories of how he lost his friend Calvin over there. He also talked and said that if not for the marines arriving in the nick of time his crew would have been wiped out and over runned.
I would like to thank everyone who served over there and thank them for watching my fathers back while he was there. For if not for you guys i wouldnt be here.:)
