Comments: My Dad was with this company from Dec 1951- Nov 1952. His name was Charles E. Eutsey. He passed away when I was very young and I never had the chance to ask him about his military service. Comments: Does anyone out there recognize me. I was picked up by the 5th Calvery regiment picked me up and took me to the 4th field hospital in Taejue, Korea. I need to hear from anyone that was in the hospital with me, because I need those hospital records,cause they were all burned up at St. Louis. Mamwod Dakroub was in the hospital as the same time as I was, and If you know him also let me know.

Will share results as soon as compiled.

Nickel got overrun - also remember well
building Camp St Barbara in middle of rice
paddies and also the long hikes up the mountain
to dig the trench for the fall back position
from the DMZ

When the truce was signed in July of 53 all of our batteries moved to accomodate the DMZ.We set up garrison in Camp St. Barbara with the rest of the I Corps Artillery Units including the 623rd, 1st FOB etc. Would like to hear from anyone who recognizes my name or if there are any details regarding the history of the Battalion

Comments: Does the 936th ever hold reunions? My father was in the 936th under the 25th infantry Division and 8th Army during the Korean War. Our house was destroyed by fire, and so was his military records in St. Louis, Mo. I would like to get his medals and patches for him as a gift because it means so much to him. Comments: ON DECEMER 23, 1992 A TEACHER, MIKE SAFRIT WROTE TO THE KOREA TOPIC ASKING TO 'HELP TEACHER ALLVETS'. MIKE WAS AN HISTORY TEACHER AND WAS GETTING READY TO TEACH THE KOREAN WAR SECTION OF HISTORY. THAT STARTED WHAT HAS BEEN GOING ON SINCE THEN, 6 YEARS LAST WEEK AND STILL GOING STRONG. I HAVE ALL THE DISKS WITH THE NOTES AND HISTORY FROM THEN.
