Comments: I'm looking for anyone who served with SGT Beverly Haskell with the 64th (105mm)FAB in Korea. He was killed-in-action on Sept 8, 1951. I'd like to find out what action/battle he was in and the location where he was killed. I'd also like to know any personal recollections of him.

Comments: My brother, Sgt. Walter I Auran landed in Korea in July, 1951. His seperation papers (Form 214) says he was a Forward Observer with Battery C,64th Field Artillery Battalion. He was wounded on Sept. 7,1951. Our family history shows his wounds occured near Pongyang on "Hill Bloody 717" I am hoping to verify the location and Unit. His records were destroyed in the big St Louis fire and I cannot prove his military service. He passed away in January,1995. Any help would be appreciated.

Comments: Looking to find anyone that may remember MSG Ditlef Joseph Lagoni. The best info that I have is that he was with the 25th Div, 64th F.A. Battalion. He was an original from Nara, Japan and was missing in action on the 10th of August 1950. Not sure of the town -- perhaps KYONGYA?
Any information will be appreciated.

Comments: Looking forward to makeing contact with some of guys that were in 25Inf/DivArty/64thBn/"A"Batt.in
Nara Japan and Korea from early 1949 thru June 1951.
My email and home address and phone # are listed.
Also anyone from the other batterys are welcome, after all we were in it together and shared the
same experiances.
:Just like every one else who served in our
nations military I had some of the worse times times of my life, but I also had some of the best.
Among the best times were those I was with the
finest group of men I have ever met. I refer of course to the troops of "A"Batt.64/Fa/25Inf Dv.
Korea was a horrible (topagraficly) place to
fight a war but fighting with the 64th made it all
tolerable.
SALUTE!! to all who died there and God be with them and also with the ones lucky and survived!
