Leon served was station in N. Car. , at Fort Braggs. He was in Company K, 21st. Inf. 24th. division, South Korea. The military believe that Leon was capture and take prisoner. He is listed as being kill. His body never came home from Chochiwon South Korea. And his country has not done nothing for him, except put a marker in Hawaii for him. What a price his country paid to him. When he paid the unlimit to his country. None of Leon family members has never received a medal for him giving his life. Now I asked, WHY SHOULD YOU GO FIGHT FOR THIS COUNTRY AND GIVE YOUR LIFE FOR IT? WHEN THIS COUNTRY DON'T GIVE A RATS SH?? ABOUT YOU! I would say, Don't serve your country if you want something from it. Look at the person who refuse to fight for this country, and look what his country done him. I now see that he was the smart one. If my uncle had refuse to fight like him, my uncle might of been alive today.
