He was awarded the Bronze Star in action around 13 July, 1951 and the citation documents that the fighting occurred around Sang-Yang-Ri. I can't find a Sang-Yang-Ri on a current map (Google). According to his DD214 he was wounded on 15 Oct, 1951 but it does not say where. From looking at the databases on this site it looks like there were heavy casualties that month and I see many were around Kumsong. His name does not come up in any of the casualty databases and I am looking for any information about these locations.

Comments: My uncle - Leonard Lahm, was in the 19th Regiment. I understand he was stationed at Camp Chicamauga in Japan in 1950. Deployed north of Deajon in the Kum River area in July 1950 and was KIA on July 16, 1950. in 2002 I was attending the World Cup (of soccer) in Japan, and happened to stay in Beppu, Japan. Then my friends and I travelled by train to Fukuoka Japan, Ferry across the Sea of Japan to Busan, then train up to Daejon to watch the USA soccer team play Poland. Later I found out that my Uncle had been stationed at Camp Chicamauga which happened to exist in Beppu Japan. Now, I assume when his 19th regiment got moved to the Kum River, they trained to the end of Japan, took a boat across the Sea of Japan and then train up to the Kum River. So I inadvertently, followed my uncles last steps before he was KIA. Still gives me chills to think about this.

She was the secretary at Palestine High for decades and loved by the students. As I said above she never remarried. She told me she always kept a poodle because she never had the chance to have children. Donna lives in assisted living in Robinson. Comments: I'm looking for information on my Great Uncle. His name was Robert Eli Titus. This was my Grandmother's brother. She sent DNA years ago. She has sent passed away. She really wanted to find his remains. If anyone has any information, could you please contact me. I'm very interested to know anything about him.
