My dad passed away 10 years ago so I cannot ask him. He wasn't much for talking about it anyway.
If you knew him or know where I can get this information, I would be greatly appreciative.

I would really love to be able to pass on to other family members memories or pictures of his early career in the army since we have very few of them to hold on to.
To all other family members and friends searching as I am, I sincerely hope you find what you are looking for.

Comments: Hi! I am looking for anyone who may possibly have served with my dad in the Korean War.
Also, I am desperately trying to find a copy of a picture of his unit that was taken as he shipped off from what I believe to be San Francisco - I believe he shipped out on the "General Black". If anyone would be familiar with such a picture, or have such picture, I would happily pay for a quality picture copy (NOT Xerox - quality is generally too poor)or for a negative taken of the pic so that I can have a good copy made myself. Unfortunately, while my family once had such a copy, it no longer exists.
Anyone who knew my dad and/or of the presence of this picture is urged to contact me (his daughter) at lgrible@yahoo.com. Many thanks in advance for reading this - and GOD BLESS all Korean Vets.
