Comments: I came in the USN in 1954 and did not see any time in Korean war. By the time my schooing was finished and I was transfered to NAS Oceana in 1955. I was attached to Fawtulant Det. B before tranffering to VF-41. I was discharged in 1958 and can't find the Fawtulant Det. B patch I had. I am wondering if there are any still around and if so where can I get one? Any help would be great as I have been to a lot of web sites with no luck.

Comments: Father, Bill Lamb, flew with VF791, Aircraft 213 in first deployment to Korea. We are planning on attending the Gathering of Corsairs in Indianapolis in September 6 - 8th. There are many squadron reunions planned (perfect time since they expect 20 - 25 Corsairs to be there)and was wondering if any other members of VF 791 would be in attendance or interested.

I am focusing on the VF 791, and particulary on the corsair number 205 of this squad.

I have a pic of it (from the USN site), and I would be very very interrested in finding any additional info about the squadron, pictures and even a picture of the Squadron patch at this period.
