Comments: I was at Pensacola 1951, then on to Texas, San Fran and San Diego. I flew off the USS Yorktown CV10 from 1953-54 with both a straight deck and later the angled deck. The Cougar was a fun plane and I had some real adventures.
I would like to connect with others who were there with me.

Comments: I'm a former Marine who served 1960-1963. I like to collect Korean War vintage stuff. Recently I purchased a nylon jacket on the internet with a leather name tag "Dave Sample AO3 VLF 153 CAG 15". And on one sleve is an American Flag and on the other sleeve is a C patch. I googled Dave Sample and up came the site with the information. If Dave want's his jacket back I would gladly send it to him. JJ White

Comments: I lost this address and just found it. I am still alive and kicking and will be 75 in late May. I was an aviation ordnanceman on the USS Princeton CVA 37 and then the Yorktown CVA 10. I did see Gerry Miller on a program about the Carriers way back when and I think he made Admiral. He knew how to play the game mand was the best skipper a feller ever had!
I sold soap for him!
I would love to hear from any old pals from that time!

I'm looking for old friends of my father, William L. Underhill.
He joined 153 in '53.
He's not too crazy about computers, so I'm posting this for him.
He'd like to hear from his old friends, so drop me a line and an e-mail address.
Thanks,
His Dutiful Son
