missions during the Korean in his F9F Panther Jet off the USS Bon
Homme Richard. He survived the war only to return home to the USA
and loose his life in a peace time training flight in California on Sept
27, 1955, nine months after my birth. I possess a citation to my father
from the then Commander of the 7th Fleet, Vice Admiral H. M. Martin
awarding him the Commendation Ribbon with the Combat
Distinguishing Device for his attacks on North Korean and Chinese
Communist Forces on August 30, 1951 in the Wonson area.
I also possess official Navy photos of his landing his jet on the carrier
with only his right wheel down due to anti aircraft fire during another
mission. Knowing little else about my dad, if you sailed with him on
the Bon Homme Richard and knew him, I would much like to speak with

Comments: my mother was not married to my father, and i'm
trying find him or any who would know him, that
might be able to tell me about him, he servied on
board in 1966-1968 pior he was on the vally forge
he has one grandson,2granddaughters, that would
really like to know him, not to mention myself, my
mother was only fifteen, so you can understand she
