I am trying to establish a medical injury I received while in the service, in the back of a trailer while hauling a Welder from one company location to another. Company Commander was Eric L Edwards. Comments: Found old letter 1956, from 50th buddy Harry G Martin, Harry was from CP200 2nd Platoon Btry B, we were stationed around Suwon Air Base, and at the Han River Bridge, Harry mentions names, such as, Elwood Hughes,Floyd,Quinett,Sims,Shaum,Williams,Lockhard, Buralli, Ruth,Poth,Petrsky, Ridge,McClintock and Ingram.

Comments: Mr. Geibel is my father in law and reports he was a driver of an M-16 halftrack equipped with quad .50's. He served under the immediate command of a Lt. Hoffman as he says. He has made contact with another unit member named 'Smitty' who is from Indiana. He reports seeing action against the enemy in one situation where the .50's were aimed at oncoming Chicom troops. I have observed that he has five battle stripes on his uniform. He has pictures of his track on an elevated position at the 'K-19' airfield with both P-51 and jet aircraft pictured nearby. He has mentioned firing at 'Bed-check Charlie'.
