Comments: Anyone interested I went from Ft Bliss TX to Mainz Germany with the 259th. (1955-1956) It came back to Ft Bliss after a little more than a year because it (the Corporal Missile) was obsolete. I later went to Italy with the 570th FA Msl Bn (Cpl),

Comments: Mac, Bobby, Lawson. My dad was Bob Keen . I understand on my father's discharge papers that he was in the 505th, but I just found out that it started out as the 259th. He was from Mass. He was at Fort Bliss and Fort Tilden. He served until May of 1953. I have 2 pictures. One is titled, Mac and Me. The other one says , Lawson. I knew he drove a truck, transported prisoners, possibly. My dad died young at age 56. I would love to know if anyone has any connections or pictures.
Thank so much, Tracy Keen Sellers

Comments: My father-in-law, Thomas Allen Seidel from Princeton, IL passed away 9/12/14. Among his things was a red jacket with "259th FA BN" on the back. The name "Bishop" is written in ink inside the collar. Am looking for the owner or someone that might like to have the jacket. His widow has move to assisted living and is disposing of many items.

Comments: Hello,
I have a Souvenir Beer stein that was owned by a person from this unit. On the front of the stein is a Crest with a missle and a banner that states " Strenght for Liberty", BTRY B, Mainz Germany 1955-1957. If any one can tell me about this unit I would appreciate it. I am doing research on this item. The owners name is also on the front. Thanks for yout help, Alan
