Retired as a CWO, Military Intelligence Corps, after 20 years, March 1973. My best friends in Basic were Roger Cyr and Hank Creekmore.

followed by:

Can anyone tell me exactly what the "A"BATT.88thABN.AABN stands for. I assume that it is Alpha Battery, 88th Airborne Air Assault (or anti-aircraft") Battalion, but I'd like to know for sure.
