Comments: I have the 502 group picture from 1957? My dad Lt. Thomas M. Madden was the XO. If anyone wants a copy to find their friends or relatives I will gladly forward you a copy. If there are any memories by your loveed ones I would be thrilled to hear them. I , my brother, and my sister were all born in Fairbanks from 1956-1958. As you can tell there were ways of keeping warm back then other than the heater.

Comments: I have a picture of my dad and someone else on a Christmas card
from the 502d Gun Battalion 120mm. He was in Alaska between
1950 and 1952. He died when I was 7, so I am wanting to find out
information. I know one night it got down to 63 below and they
had to sleep outside by their guns, in sleeping bags, so I have
been told. His full name is Bernard John Pfaff but went by Ben.

Comments: I went back to see the site few years ago and it was all changed as the
road US 97 was relocated and the road back to Battery D was gone as far
as I could tell. Is there anyone out there that remembers the good old
times at the Moose creek lodge? Its still ther too.
