served in Korea and went missing in action on May 17,

been found. He was my grandpa's youngest brother and
I have grown up hearing stories about him and reading
the letters he wrote home from Korea. He was 18 when
he served in Korea and he went by the name Little

military. I would like to know more about him if
anyone of you served along side him please feel free

My father volunteered for night patrol on 8/27/50 and never returned. His official status as MIA, although we have confirmed with Capt. Paul Stough and SFC Milford Cleckley (both retired) that my father's remains were removed from the battlefield.
The DPMO is not giving credence to what Capt. Stough and SFC Cleckley are testifying to. Any additional witnesses, assistance would be very beneficial.

Comments: I am the grandson of SSG Hoskins, Jesse and am looking for more information about his time in Korea. He didn't talk much about it and when he did it was to me only. I myself am an Army veteran and have always been interested in the War. He talked about being on patrol near the Chosin Resivior and Yellow River and his Company being ambushed and while retreating lost most of his company. Being disoriented behind enemy lines with only a handfull of them and no radio. They decided to dismantle their weapons and head for friendlt lines. During their way they came accross a large camp of thousands of Chinese eating breakfast in a valley and not one of those Chinese bothered to even look at them. They continued on and found a small village and decided to rest for awhile. That night the enemy came to the village and my grandfather was shot in the ankle. At this time friendly forces showed up and got my grandfather back and ended up in Tokyo. Any information would greatly be appreciated. He passed away on Jan 20, 2010. I do have some photos of him and his unit while at Ft. Lewis just before being deployed to Korea.

My father passed away a few years ago and I would like to find the gentleman in the drawing or his family so that I can give him/them the drawing. The soldier's name is nowhere on the sketch. Can anyone help me or put me in contact with someone who can help me? Thank you in advance for your assistance.
