Comments: Jack was killed on 23 January 1952. He is a recipient of the Distinguished Service Cross. The U.S. Army Reserve center in Sturtevant (Racine County) Wisconsin is dedicated to his memory.

I am interested in hearing from anyone who knew Jack, squad members, guys who were with him when he was killed, after action reports, locations of the battle on that date, and anything anyone may care to share with me.

Jack's best friend, Bob Hugasian, named his second son Jack, after his best friend Jack Korakian who was KIA.

Comments: The 45th, AKA the "Thunderbirds", activated for Korea, trained at Camp Polk, and on Hokaido in Japan Would like to hear from any of the guys I served with. I think a lot about Scotty and "Cat". Scotty was a cook and large. He could, one handed, crack two eggs at a time onto the grill. Scotty, I think of you every time I crack an egg.
