Comments: I am putting together a memoriam of my father Leo Lupton, Sgt. Korea - killed Feb. 4, 1951 in vicinity
of Wol-Li, South Korea. My stepfather, Sgt. John M.
Walton and he were good friends. Sgt. Walton died in
1978. They were in the same company when my father was killed. If anyone remembers either Sgt. Lupton or Sgt. Walton, please e-mail any remembrances you have of them to don lupton at lupton67@msn.com. I am trying to leave my grandsons a booklet about their great grandfathers, since they never got a chance to know them at all. Also, if my father was in Task Force Smith, I would really like to know.

Comments: I am looking for any information on a SAMMY FONVILLE- medic in the 1949 war, He was KIA that year ! Unknown on his infantry number. But, I do know that he was in the area of (BEPPU)-HOT SPRINGS,JAPAN. I have a purple flag that came back with his body it has numerous things on it : like one is a big golden eagle and atop the eagle the only words that are visible are OF MY STAY IN JAPAN, the flag is really tatterd and torn so there words missing, there are several other things on the flag as well. was told that he was a flag carrier and medic and that he was studing to be a doctor. Also was told the flag was possibly a japanese flag by the things I describe to a curator of a museum. but that they did not know anything else ! PLEASE HELP ME ! for there is very little information available about 1949. I am running out of places to look ! I would like to know how he died, what his infantry was ,where he died and anything else anyone might know about him ANY INFORMATION would be gratefully appreciated. MAY GOD BLESS ALL OF OUR VETS THAT SERVED for they will never be forgotten......... Thank you !

We are searching for people who served with or knew Keeble or have photographs of him. He served in WWII in the South Pacific, starting at Guadalcanal, NDNG 164th. Re-entered service in 1950 and fought in Korea with Co. G, 19th Inf Regt, 24th ID. Led 1st Platoon in Operation Nomad. Silver Star at Hill 585, on or about Oct 15-18, 1951. Distinguished Service Cross on Oct 20, 1951 at Hill 770 for leading 3 platoons, then single-handedly taking out three pillboxes on above hillside.
