Comments: Seeking to find anyone that served with
Staff Sgt. Bobby Gene Johnson in Korea.
He was from Clinton Oklahoma and was a wireman
chief although he wore many hats. He passed
away Nov 7 2002, he never talked about the war
to us kids just waited to find someone who could
tell me more about him as army soldier.

Comments: Allen Hayes as I knew him was my father's best friend. They grew up together in East Lynn, Illinois where now both my dad and Allen are buried side by side. Allen was killed in Korea and his gravestone has the military unit identification listed above. I am wanting to speak with any veteran of his unit who may have known him. He has kind of haunted my life. I was just a kid, finding it strange that someone I knew came back from war in a box. By the late 60s, I served in Vietnam and since my father has been dead since 1954, I can't ask him about Billy and how he died. If anyone knows, I would appreciate the contact
