Comments: My father lives with me, have few pictures from cockpits, so on from the Korean War. When went to get his records, they told me they were all destroyed. However then went after things he did after he left the military, also still had his dog tags. Today got records back showing this as part of his service during the 7 years he served. He also received medals from what it showed. National Defense Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal, and AFR 35-50. Tried to research some what per some of the things written on notes of this document like OSI Secret and even AFR 35-50 .... not much out there, really leads so Codes of Conduct other well government makes clear they do not discuss. Dad is now 80, he has never received anything as a Veteran, when tried to file here as said they pretended like oh who, prove it. Happy to say many that are still alive can if they ever had need to provide them as they transferred in life. In my father case in 1966 he went to work for a airbase, have the ID card even, there another file of dads military service was recorded, the one sent to me. Makes me happy to see they finally found him. Hope other veterans well that served with him. Dad says he plans on living tell 105, yes this is what he states, also loves to state it is better then the alternative. Guess we shall see. Try to get other pictures uploaded on my FaceBook ... but be totally interested in learning more about this war, and the pictures of the men that is in my fathers scrap book. ~ sincerely Tammy Lee (Calvin's daughter)

He was TechSgt Sharp Davidson, he had something to do with radio and comm, and one of the two black men in a squadron picture, undated. My understanding is that he flew recon missions and he flew aboard RB-45's State Side and Split Vertcal. He spent time in the 60's with 91 SRW.

Comments: On the night of 14Jul52 just before midnight I was flying as LG when the CFC and I were blinded for about an hour by an exploding very bright shell (Not regular flak) at 9 o'clock high. Of our 29 missions that happened just once. If your crew observed any very bright exploding shells at 30,000 feet, drop me an E-mail.

Comments: I am seeking correspondance with anyone who would have served with my father Charles Golden during the Korean War. I know he was assigned to the 343 prior to the war and I have "in country" photo's so I can only assume he remained with the 343 when they were sent from Spokane.
