Comments: Dad's service records were among those destroyed at the records center in St. Louis, MO. Fairchild was our home. Dad served in 301st BG and flew in B-17s in WW2 north Europe, Africa, Germany, Italy, Romania. 327 Bomb Sdn in Korea. Does any one know what B-29 he flew to Korea in and who were the crew? By this time 1950 he was a E-7 MSG. He had served as a bombardier, gunner, navigator, and ground maintenance support. As time goes by there fewer of the greater generation are left. If there is one out there, or a dependent of one who has been told about these people, times, and places please contact me. As a family we went to England, Spain, Puerto Rico, and always came back to Fairchild Spokane. My Dad retired in 1965, he died in 2001.

Comments: My father-in-law was in the 92nd Bomb group of the 327th, based at Fairchild WA. His name is William Flook. I believe he was a tail gunner. Was wondering if someone had pictures of him or could share pictures of patches and bomber jacket information. Any information would be great.

Comments: I am not finding information on this unit during these
years. Please if you were a part of this unit I would
like information, photos, and links, or orgin. that may
help me.
My father's information was lost in the records Dept.
in St. Louis in 1973. His own personal items were lost
in the 1980's. My father is living and it would mean
so much to all of us for any photos, or corispondance
from his friends.
Thank You, And God Bless!

Comments: Flew from Spokane, Wa across the pacific refueling at Hawaii and other islands along the way. Old enough not to remember each islands name. Had many fond memories servicing the aircraft bombing and navigation radar (APQ-13)for the maximum effort missions we ran everyday.
Left Yokota for the states in early November 1950 to prepare the wing for B-36 aircraft.
