Comments: My father is Richard Wayne Deeter, Sr. and he will be 92 on August 19, 2017 and he's not in good health; we don't know how much longer he has; could be just a few days. I was the one daughter out of 6 children who would sit for hours at the kitchen table listening to my dad talk about Korea. Due to his religion, he was a conscientious objector but remembers that he was with the 95th Battalion and was like a company clerk due to his typing skills. He had an interpreter named Jin Kye Soo (middle name is pronounced Kwah). I asked my dad if he had any regrets in life and he said only one regret; that he never found out what happened to Jin Kye Soo after the war. They became friends but somehow my dad was sent back to the states before being able to get contact info for his friend so they didn't keep in touch. Jin Kye Soo would have been hired by the Army, I assume, but no one seems to have any info on him. Comments: Just began family genealogy and discovered my grandfather was Capt. Irl E. Hall INF ON DUTY W/CO A, HQTRNG MP, 95 DIV USA. My father (his son) just became aware as well. Please!!! If anyone has any information to share we would be forever grateful!

Comments: i served in the 95th mp battilion 143mp co.in korea in 1951 and 1952 , i was in chun chon for 7 months then went to seoul , i'm interested in any information about anyone else that might of been in these areas at these times .
