Comments: My wonderful dad talks to me about his experiences during the MP division in the Korean War. Japan. He told me about the time of all the MP's in his unit became spit shined for a parade and was so sharp of a unit that they received a citation and were the best and sharpest looking MP unit seen and the reputation still holds true.
I love my 83-84 year old dad. He is in Jackson, Michigan and wants to reunite with you out there. You can call him at 517-783-5300 if you know or remember Ernest Truman he & I would greatly appreciate it. Bless you all for serving for us..Merry Christmas in 2013.

We then boarded a Destroyer and landed in Pusan Korea. The equipment arrived at a later date.
I don't know if there is anyone out there who remembers me or not, but if there is i would like to hear from you all.

Comments: I submitted an entry in 2001 asking for any information on a dear buddy, Donald R. Coe who went over with me on a troop ship. after much searching and much to my disappointment, I located Don's wife who informed me he had passed away two weeks before I contacted her. But, she and I have been communicating via e-mail and last year, she met me in Yuma Arizona in that she had moved from NY to Phoenix and we have established a great friendship since. Thanks to all who may have tried to assist me.

Linwood Hutchinson. We lived in the NCO tent on the left as you entered the walled compound that
we were quartered in. Our MP Station was located down Town PUSAN. I use to drive patrol in the city
in MP Jeep. Some times I would travel all the way
out to the check point that had two MP's on duty
way out pass Hialeia. Do you remember the Truck that we mounted armor and Machine guns on and was
made to look like a regular truck for convoy duty
escorting convoys out of Pusan. When the enemy attacked the canvas was dropped and the machine guns would fire protecting the convoy from the
enemy in the hills. Have you heard from any other
memebers of the unit.
