Comments: I am looking for anyone who can tell me anything about my cousin Coy L Godbey. He was in Japan befor going to Korea. He served in the 5th Cav Reg't Co C,
I am having him as an honored guest at our family reunion on the 3rd Sat of June 2002,and I am trying to collect pictures of fellow soldiers,or places this unit was at in Korea. I am putting together a book to present to him . Aslo I am leaving my home address and e-mail address so if you knew him and would like to write a letter to him and send it to me I will add it to the book.
Coy is a very sick man and I want to do something for him while I can .But most of all I want to do this to say a small ThANK YOU to him for serving our great country ,in order that I and we might have this freedom to enjoy. And I also Thank Each of you

Comments: I am looking for any information about my relative, Charles Outland. I lived with his mother until she died recently and over the last few months of her life we talked a lot about her boy "Chuck." We spent a lot of time reading his old letters and I really would like to learn more about him. If you served with him please contact me. Thanks! Here is some basic information that I do know: he was KIA on 09/18/50; he was stationed along a river (Naktong maybe?) during the last few weeks of his life; and he was stationed in Japan before going to Korea and served on the rifle team competing in shooting tournaments.
