Comments: Pete Keeney was my Grandfather. He was killed when my Father was three years old. I would like to hear from anyone who served with him. I have very little info. I would also like to hear from anyone who served with him in WWII, or the Occupation of Japan. Best Wishes to all who sacrificed for my sake.

Comments: I'm looking for anyone who was with the 29th RCT at Anui or Hadong on July 27, 1950. And, in particular, anyone who may have known my brother Bernard John Tillman ("Bernie" or "Bunny" to his family and close friends). He may have be assigned as a BAR man. My brother was 17 at the time he was declared MIA (and later KIA) on that date. I was 9 years old at the time that this happened.
Although I've read everything I could find that's been written about the battles, since most of my brother's records were destroyed in a fire at the Army Records Center I don't know whether he was with the 1st Battalion at Anui or the 3rd Battalion at Hadong. If anyone can give me any information, or point me to anyone else who may have something to share, I would greatly appreciate it. God bless all who served and sacrificed!

Comments: I am trying to find any information on my uncle. He was taken prisioner on 7/27/50 but I have since learned that he died on 2/24/54. My family just was told that he was a prisioner. I was 10 years old at the time so I want to find any thing I can for my mother and her brothers and sisters. My mother and I have sent in our DNA to be tested to see if it matches up with any soldiers that have been found and returned so far. Any information would be appreciated. Any one that might have known him and was with him at any time while he was in Korea. Thank you very much.

Comments: My great uncle was listed MIA in Korea. I have since learned that he was actually a POW and was killed. His family is searching for any and all information on him that we can get. If you have any info please send it to me. The family needs some type of closure. We are still waiting for DNA tests to be completed to see if his body was ever returned. I never had the opportunity to meet my great uncle but I know how important it is to my grandmother and my great aunts and great uncle that they find out what exactly happened to their brother. Thank you and God Bless you.
