Comments: I trained in Langley with a Lt Qwinn and a Navigator whose name I have forgotten.
We were sent to Korea as a crew but where split up on arriveing there. they had a back log of gunners from the reserve trying to finish there tours.
Anyway Qwinn and his crew was shot down and captured The North Koreans Made a big deal of them Propaganda Crap. I was wondering if any of them made it home. Stan Brown Gunner

Comments: I was an Armorer with the 8th Liberty Bell Squadron Apr 54 to Sept 54. We kept the B-26 pilots sharpshooting ability up to par. I left Kunsan Korea Sept 24 1954. The 8th Bomb Squadron moved to Johnson Air Base Oct 54. While at Johnson we made TDY's to Clark Air Base, Philippines and Kadena Air Base, Okinawa.
I shipped back to the states July 1955 and was reassigned to the 511th Fighter Bomber Squadron, 405th Ftr Bmr Wg Langley AFB, Virginia
I am looking for buddies who may have been at Kunsan, Johnson or Langley during this time period.
During this time period my home was in New Jersey. I now reside in Massachusetts.
It is great to see the rememberance created by this site about the forgotten War.

Comments: My father was a navigator and bombadier officer of the 8th somewhere between 1950-54 in Korea. I am looking for unit patches of the time in order to put together a flight jacket for him. Any help would be appreciated.

Comments: Would like to contact anyone who knew my father "Gish" Jarvis. Interested in learning more about his Korean War service and conditions in Korea. He passed away in 1986 without sharing his memories which I deeply regret. He was also assistant provost marshall at Eglin AFB in late 40's and a WWII vet.
