Comments: Hello Shipmate, don't remember you and I'm sure you
don't know me or remember me. I remember our westpac
cruise, I was 19 at the time and could not get a drink
in Hawaii, ( didn't have any money anyways ) we got to
midway and we were paid there, then on to Guam an got
the worst sunburn ever ( gab-Gab beach )and remember we
were sitting high and dry in Naha Okinawa ? great
cruise I was transferred after getting back to the
states. My great friend Chris Pena EN2 was a good
friend until his death of cancer in 2006. I can't
remember too many guys names that were on during my
brief stay. I just remember how long it would take to
get from one place to another, the top speed was 9-10
knots Great Memories

Comments: Does anyone remember the Christmas party that the crew of L.S.T. 758 put on for the Korean orphans in 1952? We showed Walt Disney cartoons, each child got some new clothing and we feed them the very best that we had. This is a very good memory at a time when there were not to many good things to remember.
