Comments: Was aircraft radio operator on C-46 aircraft stationed at Brady Field in Japan and Taegu
Korea part time.
I have the list of personnel that were on flight status during August 10 1950 to September 1951.
Was in Air Force reserve called up on August 3, 1950. Went to Shaw Field and then to Brady
field in Japan via MsClellen to Hickam to Johnston Island to Kwajalien to Guam to Itazuki and finally to Brady on November 8, 1950.
Returned to US on September 16, 1950 from Haneda AFB to Shimya Aleutians to Anchorage to Tacoma McChord and then to Mitchel AFB in New York

Keywords: Flew to various locations in korea including Pyongyang, Kimpo, Pusan,Taegu and others..
participated in paradrops such as Mun San Ni, resupply to dropzones, air mail delivery on small island, spraying and troop transports.

Comments: Went over with the origional group of C-46's from
Chicago Via Shaw Field and the US General Anderson
from FT Mason California.

21 days Returned to Memphis Tenn. via Tokyo, Shmya, Ankcorage Alaska,and McCord Field on a TWA
C-54 Bucket seats Airliner 21hr's

Keywords:

I was stationed at Ohare Field when the 437th got recalled and our whole
outfit joined
up with them at Shaw Field. I was with the 84th until our crew came back to
Memphis in May 1952
