We flew all sorts of Combat Cargo missions including troop drops, courier flights, air resupply, etc. I was activated with the 516th Troop Carrier Group at Memphis in April 1951. I was sent to the 84th Squadron, 437th Troop Carrier Group in September of 1951. Sometime near the middle of 1952, our unit was redesignated as 34th Squadron, 315 Troop Carrier Group. I received orders to return to the ZI in October of 1952. I met a lot of great guys during that time period and would certainly like to hear from some of them. You have a very interesting site and it provides a valuable service. Thanks for your interest. Joe Mooney
