Comments: My father, Lt. Daniel Caputo, was assigned to the 19th TCS from 10/52 to 10/53 and flew the C-46. He loved the plane and thought so much of those who worked on them. Anyone who may have known or flown with him; any info would be appreciated.

Comments: I was a radio operator on a C-46, based at Brady Field near Fukioka, Japan 1952-53. I was briefly stationed at Tachikawa, Japan before our unit was moved to Brady-a rustic site-no permanent buildings, a pierced-steel runway, no PX or other amenities. However, we had an excellent record of supporting the troops in Korea.

Comments: I was stationed at Brady Field, near Fukuoka, Japan, in 1952-53 as a Radio Operator on a C-46; I experienced an emergency bailout over Tejon, Korea on April 4, 1953. Our Pilot was Capt. Ivan Turner. Hoping to touch base with a friend of mine in the same unit as a Radio Mechanic. His name was Gene Derrell. Hope someone can help.
