I was at clark field when the korean war started
and was sent tdy to feamcom across from tachi and then back to clark and finaly pcs to tachi and the
6th tcs. departed tachi in july 52 by ship for discharge at camp stoneman. after discharge serve
with the air guard and af reserve. Flew the c54
with 6th and c97, c124 with air guard and finished
up on the c141 with the reserves

Korea, and one on the way to Manila, with a
diversion to Tainan, Formosa for an engine change. nothing else eventful.
Keywords: Flew aircraft commander on c-54's for a 12 month tour,beginning july 1951 thru july 1952. flew mostly troops in, and air evac back to Japan. an occasional flight to manila,(clark field)
