Comments: Was with D Co 44th in 1979-80, When I first arrived my platoon was on a project near the DMZ, we stayed at Camp Castle which was a facility engrs compound if I remember correctly. At any rate we revamped latrines on camp Stanton then moved across the bridge for another project then to Camp Casey to construct a couple of buildings there.

Comments: I was very proud to have served with the 44th EBC.I did some fast growing up and made some life long friends. We worked 12 hour days 6 and 7 days a week. We played just as hard. God I loved it. I was wondering if there is a way to obtain a jacket or tee shirt to continue to show my pride of this unit. Presently working for the 355th civil engineer squadron at Davis Monthan AFB Tucson, AZ. As a civ. employee.

Comments: Was with A, Company 802nd EBC at Camp Humphries from April 1972 through August 1974. Drove 10 Ton tractor-trailer and was the section sergeant of same my last 6 months. The best and most memorable times of my life was in Korea. Now I hear the unit has been deactivated. Say it isn't so Bunky. Wish I could go back. Would love to hear from anyone who was there then and would like to hear about the changes all the way up until it was retired in 1999.

Comments: Just wondering if any one remembers Sgt.(Ronald) Lykes,James Allred(Okie)or any of the other crazies that used to hang out at the "Sun Club" Not that we got to spend much time at Camp Casey any way, We were to busy working on the DMZ keeping the Generals parking lots resurfaced. Remember we rolled that loaded dump truck and the stones tore out the fence? Did Those MP's get a little excited or what!
Would be happy to hear from anyone that was there for the excitment. Take Care Brothers.......

was a maintenance tent that was hot in the summer and freezing in the winter. I
remember the Miss America and court visiting our unit. I also remember the first female
