Comments: It was a wild time. A lot of it has blended with dreams now. I was young
enough to be stubbornly denying how much of me was still a boy.
Rebelling against leadership, bonding with peers. Pretty much lost touch
with everyone over the past four decades. I'm playing music in
Milwaukee but leaving in a couple of weeks for Central America. Wrote a
song about the Turkey Farm (The Road to Jon Gi Gol) that I recorded in
2007 (iTunes) under the Philip Gatewood band aegis.

Do people contact each other on here via emails? That would be
interesting. I quit drinking in 86 (some of you must have seen that
coming) and one of the guys I now sponsor I was in basic with, but that's
about it for army buds. Oh, and Jon Monroe would cross my telephone
every so often, but not in the past five years. He's still a mad genius
living on the edge I'm happy to say. And me? Shit, I dunno.

I did one run with Spc/4th Steven Holtz, he was from
MO. We can across three inflitrators in a valley just
before reaching the 2nd Div. Headquarters. All three
were carrying AK's. They didn't fire on us. We went
up the hill, ran into a ROK Army Patrol, told them
what we saw, and a Fire Fight ensued. Was reported in
Stars and Stripes, I believe Aug of 70.
Our Trick Chief was Sgt. E-6 Blevins. A real big guy.
Anyone remembering any of this and our job to go to

Comments: DO YOU REMEMBER THAT FORMER PRESIDENT JIMMY CARTER SENT
SECRET SERVICE AGENTS TO THE DMZ IN A CHOPPER AND THEY
GOT OUT AND DECIDED IT WAS TO DANGEROUS FOR HIM TO COME
UP TO THE DMZ AND LEFT, Probably the biggest proof that
we were in a war zone that nobody cared to print about,
as they did not want to pay US combat pay. Nor reward
US for our Service.

I was 17 and just a Grunt, barely past my Basic
stunt, still i was sent right to the front, just because
i was 6ft1 to intimidate Those north Korean ones. When
i got There people died, yet I Love Lucy was still
alive. The crap on TV made me loss my pride, i knew my
people did not care if we lived or died. We were not
given any medals, our government has become worse, and
still do not see, nor do they reward my comrade fellas
or me. They were stealing our jeeps in garbage trucks,
ask for a pass you were out of luck. Night after night
you thought what the f***. Captains all had, not a
clue, the lieutenant too did not know what to do. the
First SGT and Captain were relieved, for calling SGT
Jonson a Nig** please. We needed non of that, as there
was no camaraderie where i was at. We fought more with
ourselves, then the North Koreans this was hell. I
became a cook to my surprise, we still pulled guard
duty that's no lie. With my M16 grenade launcher, i
survived, though some did not, suicide thrived. I had a
medic write me up, to tell my family i had given up. It
was a man from the other side, of pot hill that did not
survive. Pot bridge was the way, we had kept sane from
day to day. Monkey shi* it was most the time, but it
was something to ease to ease our mind, if you were not
drunk half the time. Can you tell me what is on your
mind sitting on the Front all the time? Bestiality
there was non of that, no homosexuals did i know in
Korea, no no there was not that. What i longed for was
Burger King,Now they are there with their jingling. One
night i went to visit a Friend who in basic training
became my Friend, Michelson was his name, this one
night made US not the same. I looked out and what i saw
5 North Korean on this side of the wall. I told the Sgt
to call it in, but they would not let US engage in
Combat then. The next Morning We were on a jeep, for
having faced the enemy before our sleep. I knew right
where the placed that thing, that killed three men what
a careless sting. The SGT who, was captured by, the
North Korean from the other side. His body was sent
back three months latter as i cried, they put a grenade
in his mouth for their pride, and sent him back in
peaces inside, a box and bag again again i lost my
pride.President Puck Chug Hi also died. So meany days i
felt i died, 2 Katusha also died at that same place,it
was all a lie? Just who cares if we live or die, it was
basic training all over i cried. For in my first run in
the military was, a reality check to who i was. Two big
men had just dropped dead, that i just got to know and
thought as Friends, how could they have known, they
could not keep up? They had no training their hearts
gave uP. My last days in were a total scare, as the
Captain sent us all up in the air, a crazy pilot this
man was, shaking the Black Hawk all around because, he
thought it funny to see US fear, he had control of US
in the air. When he set down i took the Captains Jeep,
and told them i was not their fodder sheep. The sorriest
thing about this pilot was him self and 13 died
because, He played the fool in the air it was,Because
no one would disciplined him it was. He crashed at Ft
Cambial on the Tarmac this was in 81 they lost their
lives because, it for his fun,his fun it was.27 people
died that i had seen in my service it was not a dream,
but all for not but because no one cared, about US men
who put our hands in the air, to protect this land from
enemy forces this was. It is our own government, our
enemy now, sources do confirm they do not care but like
a cow. Even about You who read this now, Where, ever you
are do beware,Chem trails in the sky i aim not here to
scare. but to tell you the truth that it is there. It is
our government that is a lie.planning a million man
charge, against we the people who will die, because
they, do not want the Freedom we possessed, free to
talk about all this mess. How do we prepare for this
less we scream it out scream it out i guess? So scream
it out scream it out, it's Best so your children Will
Know about all this mess.

Robert(Buck)Buchanan from Brooklyn NY and
Phillip(Ginger)Gendron from San Diego Calif.
If anyone knows these men, please ask them get a hold
of me. The exposure has not only caused severe health
issues for Tim but his daughter and son. We are looking
for others that can qualify his statements about
pesticide and defoliant use around the camps. Also
using the barrels for burning waste and for
shower, eating and sleeping in the under ground bunkers
and the area devoid of foliage and the constant
spraying of pesticide for the mosquito problem.
Thanks

went on active duty June 1975 I did my basic and ait at
Fort Polk LA.After that I was stationed at Camp Holz
Korea with the 1/17 Mech INF Division my mos at that
time was 11C plus I was 11BP10 tow and dragon
missles.while over Korea I got frostbite on my toes
and I caught hep.c which UNCLE SAM gives service
connect 0 percent. They are so full of it.As far as
AGENT ORANGE I feel that after VIET NAM UNCLE SAM is
really just finding out the affects of AGENT
ORANGE.NO disrespect but how do UNCLE SAM know that
AGENT ORANGE was not passed on from one soldier to
another even brought back to the states.Us soldiers
come back from duties overseas with systoms that we
do not notice at the time because we are young men
and woman, but as age ticks on the systoms gets worse
and worse and the first thing UNCLE SAM says it did
not happen on or watch, but us VETS did not tell UNCLE
SAM we are not doing our job on our watch.I pulled 21
missions on the DMZ and they still say that KOREA is
not a combat zone we that was there know better.I
just want whats due to us.
