Comments: To me, this was like a continuation of the pacific campaign in WW 2. I served in that theater in, WW2 with an Infantry Division. The enemy was very similar and the tactics also .Our tactics and equipment had changed some.

Keywords: Pusan to Hamhung,Aug.1950, June,1951, all phases of the Korean War,to that date. Member of Reconnaissance Platoon, tank section.
Last crew I served with was SGT. Burton,Phelps,Herko and Harbin. We had other crew members, on my tank prior to that, who were assigned to other sections or transferred.I shipped to the States in June, 1951.

It states he was riding as a 'bow gunner' for the tank. LOOKING for anyone who might have been part of his tank crew or who might have known him otherwise from this unit or I Corps HQ.
