I am trying to put together a collection of patches, uniforms and awards for public displays. I am looking for donations of anything worn by a solidier during the Korean War. If any armed forces member can help out it would be appreciated. I would also like to keep the items donated associated witht he soldier that wore it so I may contact you for certain information so I may type up a history. Please pass this information along to others in the armed forces.

Comments: Hello. There is a large history project at my school and others across the nation that are participating in a History contest. My subject is on African Americans in the Korean war. I am making a documentary which means I need interviews with War Veterans, a few different interviews would be nice and I need at least one African American, the others would just have to inform of me certain things about the war. If anyone could help me I would appreciate it greatly. I wasn't sure how I would find a veteran to interview but then I came upon this place and figured it couldn't hurt to ask. The person needs to be in the Dallas, Fort Worth, or Arlington area. Thank you for your time.

Comments: What do you know about the Red Bull Express because, my grandfather, Phillip Hill has just past, and the family was very interested in what he was doing in the war. He was an African-American and he was an engineer (truck driver) in the war, but we would love more info about him if possible, anything would do.Thank You!!!!!!!!!!

Comments: The African American Cultural Council of Virginia is seeking minority men and women, who served in the Korean War, to honor during its' annual Fleet Week Salute to Minorities in the Military.

The event will be held Ocotober 19, 2000 at the Snug Harbor Officers Club on the Little Creek Naval Amphib Base in Virginia Beach, VA.
