Comments: I also would like to find the name of the ship that was torpedoed on January 10, 1945 that Stephanie Huffman posted about earlier. My Uncle Pvt. Mickey M Hoskins of the 1279th. was also KIA on that ship. Any information would be greatly appreciated . Thanks to all for their service.

Comments: My name is Stephanie Huffman.I am the great neice of
Bruce R Huffman. He was born in 1917 to Clifford and
Isola Fern Huffman in Indianapolis, Indiana. he
enlisted in the Army there as well. He was a private
and his service number was 20538158. He was killed on
a ship that was hit by a torpedo. He was below and
got trapped. They have the date missing as January
10, 1945 and his memorial is located in Fort William
Mckinley Cemetery, Manila in the Philippines. I am
trying to find out the name of the boat he was on and
where it was located so I can get some information
for my family tree. If anyone has any information on
this please feel free to E-mail me. I have no family
members living that would know this information so

757, US Army on 30 July 1954. Volume 1, Number 5.Lists

supply.
26 men who received Cpl stripes.
Uniform for Parade.
H and S Company won 8th straight softball game.
