Comments: I am looking for the family of a man possibly by the name of Marvin Yates number 6924577. The writing is in cursive so I think that is what the first name is spelled out and I’m not sure of the rank possibly A sergeant. It says T/Maybe SGT.

Comments: I am researching the life of my father John (Jack) T
Quinn and uderstand that since he flew an F-84E in
1952 he was probably stationed at Taeque in the 7th,
8th or 9th Squadrons.
I'd appreciation any information on Jack Quinn.
Were there other squadrons in 1952 that flew F-84Es
in Korea?
Thank you

Comments: I came across this site and noticed that my Grandpa's name was on the roster for the 7th Fighter Bomb Squadron.
He passed away in January of 2003. His stories of his time in the Air Force will live with us, his family, forever. If anyone has any other stories they can share, I'd love to hear them and pass them along to the family. I'm his youngest granddaughter.

Comments: My dad was James O Hart and was in this unit. Does anyone remember him? He was a jet mechanic and worked on the flight line and was injured when a bomber came back still carrying a bomb; upon landing, the bomb exploded and he was hit. I would like to hear from anyone who would remember him or anything about the incident (when it happened, where it happened, etc). Thank you so much.

Comments: 1st Lt. Dominique Kenneth Martin was my father and my name sake. He flew F84's with the 7th. On May 5th 1952 he was on a mission with two other F84's in the Huichon area when his plane was hit. He had to bail and was seen moving about on the ground by the other two pilots. That was the last anyone saw of him. I was born on September 8, 1952. If anyone has any information about him, or knew him please get in touch with me if possible. I would like to learn more about him and his career in the Air Force.

Comments: I am researching air combat in the Korean War by non-F-86 units. I am looking for information, first hand and otherwise on F-80 units’ air combat with MiG’s, especially in the period November 1950 thru mid 1951. A few of these encounters are well known and written about in published US works but most are not, sometimes they are only barely mentioned at all in available US records. But some had surprising results from the Soviet perspective that I believe would make them very interesting if described in detail from both sides, so this is what I am trying to do. Any info relevant to this is most welcome.
