Comments: Hello thank you all for your service to our country. My father was in the 430th somewhere in Japan 1951-54 pfc Delbert Zamora, he passed away December of 2018, he was proud to serve with his brothers in arms. I have a large collection of candid photos that he took while in Japan, at the base and in the surrounding area, would anyone know if they could be donated to a museum or Korean War memorial society?

Comments: I am trying to get info on info on the 430th Bomber group, My grandfather, was shot down twice the first time was Feb ? 1951, he was wounded in the leg and than was shot down a second time and received flash burns rescuing the pilot the second time. I need to get any proof of this because he never received a purple heart for both incidents and is currently in need of home care.

He was stationed at Lackland AFB from Dec 1949-August 1950, Randolph Field from Aug 1950-Apr 1951, Williams AFB Apr 1951-Mar 1952, Camp Stoneman in March of 1952, and subsequently was stationed out of Korea.

Comments: Comments: I am interested in researching the history of my father-in-law, George "Cracker" Lindsey. He was a pilot with the 430th FB Squardon from March thru December of 1953.
Mr. Lindsey was the father of my wife. He died in an automobile accident when she was three years old. She and her family would like to have any information regarding Lt. Lindsey or if anyone can point me in the right direction for finding flight logs, etc. from that time frame, I would be appreciatiave.

Robert Engle passed away in 1988 of heart problems.
His brother, my Uncle Richard Engle, who was in Air Force at same
time, is still living, in LaGuna Hills, CA.
I am working on scanning all the photo's (which are wonderfully clear),
