Comments: I am looking for information on a F-51D Mustang that my father (Lt. James S. German) flew during the Korean War. I have a picture of him standing next to the aircraft but the buzz number is partially blocked. It is either FF-372 or FF-872. On the right side there is the name "Little Jo". I am requesting any information on this aircraft such as the full tail number. I am a scale model builder and would like to do an aircraft with the correct tail and buzz number. Thank you in advance for any information on this aircraft,

I am writing to report his passing on September 18, 2019 at the age of 91, and he was laid to rest in Arlington. His time in the Air Force was the highlight of his life and would tell us many stories of his time in Korea . He spoke fondly of all his fellow pilots. I don't' know how many of his contemporaries are left. If anyone wants any additional information you can contact me at the email above.
