What a great project. With that I almost hestitate
to write because I served in Tokyo GHQ Dec 1951 to
March 1954 in the Billeting Section/Dependent
Housing, I am considered a Korean War Vet and
received the Korean Service Medal and the United
Nations Korean Service Medal.
Further, I served in Korea 1959-1960 and was awarded
the new Korean Defense Service Medal for this
service. I was in the 13th Trans Co (Lt Hel)as a
crew chief (H-21C Helicopter) and later a section
sergeant.
I may have missed it, but I could not find any info
about GHQ. I believe GHQ should be added to this
excellent project.
