Comments: I am searching for anyone who might have known my father's brother Corporal Lamar M. Langston of the 106th. Finance Disbursing Section. The only info I have is that he allegedly died of smallpox in a Pusan, Korea Hospital on 3-30-51. I also think he was serving on a Navy ship at the time he became ill, but I am not sure of this info. I don't know if this is the right place to inquire, but I will take help from anywhere I can get it.
He was from Pike County, Alabama and was engaged to be married to a Mary Nell Ward. I would appreciate contact with anyone who might have known him, the family information on him is so little and I would like to know more.
