Comments: Looking for anyone who may have served with my dad during the time he was in Korea or any time he was in the service, but particularly during the Korean War period. He served with the 24th Infantry Division, 70th ARC M Tank Bn from 50-51. He was seriously wounded by shrapnel caused by a missle on 3 Feb 51 while a tank crew member and subsequently evacuated. He went on to serve 24 years in the U.S. Army with a tour in Vietnam and another in Korea years later. He was medically retired at Ft. Benning GA in Aug 72. He passed away on 2 Jun 96 after a brief illness. Thanks in advance for any information.
