Comments: A few years back I was able to visit with Art Nelson and rehashed old times. Missed the reunions. Have been unable to get ahold of Art in the last several months. Last conversation with Art, we were trying to find if Lou Albi (LT.) or Willard S. (hogleg) Irving were still around. Also, when I last met with Art, he informed my that my Chief, "Smitty" had passed on, but I did have a chance to corresponed with Smitty's wife.

Keywords: Served on Algol 1951-1952. Started as Salvage boat Officer, left as Boat Group Cmdr. Transfered to Task Force 90 on the Mt. McKinley (AGC) just before Algol headed back to San Diego.
